"He's been teaching our son for the past year and we're thrilled to have him as the piano instructor. He is great with children, very patient, superb listener and observer who knows how to adjust the length and type of the instructions given to meet child's ability, focus and above all child's interest. The great part is David integrates technology into teaching music which makes kids excited to learn and practice so even some - what often seem like boring drills (i.e. practicing scales) -turn out to be fun and totally doable! David puts in practice whatever a child is learning at the moment taking advantage of opportunities that come up to show off their skills (in our case: Hoboken Music festival and the Bubble Queen show, holiday concert at school, Sunday Mass at church and etc.). These great opportunities allow children to show their skills which in turn keeps them engaged, motivated and wanting to learn more. David has a great approach and energy, is very creative and a total pleasure to be with. Lastly, and perhaps the most important: he enjoys children and brings a wonderful excitement to their music experience. We are very grateful to have him in our lives."
